Dr. Shamina Dhillon completed medical school at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. She completed her internal medicine and gastroenterology training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. During her training at the Mayo Clinic, she received several national awards for her research in Barrett's esophagus, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Her research and publications include two book chapters in the field of gastroenterology as well as research papers on inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett's esophagus and reflux disease and gastroenterology issues affecting women.
In addition to her full time practice, Dr. Dhillon serves on a national committee for the American College of Gastroenterology. She is a clinical assistant professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
